My name is Neil P. and I live in Scottsdale, AZ, back in May 2012 I began searching the internet for available vacation homes in Flagstaff, AZ, I couldn’t really find what I was looking for so emailed a few local realtors to help me find a home that was close to town, affordable, and on the newer side. Of the 3 realtors I solicited only 1 responded – Lisa Macdonald (Aird)! She answered all my questions initially and was very quick to respond to others. Within hours I had multiple properties to review and pictures to go with. One property in particular had no pictures accept 1 of the front of the home. This home was a rental and the listing agent wasn’t too willing to disturb the renters to provide more photos in the time frame needed, so Lisa traveled to the home and took the pictures herself and got them to me…. That property was a little too dated for my liking so Lisa then sent over a brochure for a new build development in west Flagstaff called, The Cottages. This development was very interesting to me being 2 miles from town, wooded, new, had some nice size lots, and price was in my range. The only issue is there was no completed models to see what the finished product looked like…. Lisa traveled to the site on a few different occasions and took numerous photos for me that indicated the progress and the craftsmanship of the model homes. She was also keeping in touch with the builders realtor to get updates on any sales that were taking place, because I had my eye on 2 lots in particular that if I did go with this home I wanted it to be built in a certain location. Towards the end of the model construction the sales immediately started picking up. Lisa contacted me and said, if you want one of those lots you need to act now. So I did and without her alert I would have lost the lot I wanted.
Throughout the construction process Lisa was very helpful in getting certain questions asked and really went to bat for me when controversial situations came up. Me living 2 hours away wasn’t able to physically watch the construction of the home but Lisa came out to the site for me on a couple occasions and send sent pictures of the homes progress. Finally, even at closing of the home Lisa was there to assist being at the final walk through organizing all parties (which was difficult to get the builder in same place at the same time, because he so busy). She even reviewed my closing documents from Title Company before I took official ownership and found that a progress deposit was not deducted from the total sale of the home and told me I was being over charged. Overall, I was very impressed with Lisa and would highly recommend her for your Real Estate needs! Thank You Lisa!
